The Championship is known as a league full of grit, passion and is home to some of the countries biggest football clubs. Survival in the league relies on consistency, strength and a squad filled with ambition.
Today we take a look at Aden Flint, Bristol City centre back and perhaps the most sought after defender in the football league. Signing for just £300k from Swindon Town in 2011, Flint has been a crucial cog to Bristol City's survival in the Championship and not to mention their promotion too, as Flint piled high on the goal tally, spite being a central defender.
With clubs such as Aston Villa and Everton reportedly interested in obtaining Flints services, how hard will it be for Bristol City to keep hold of the 27 year old work horse.
Flint has delivered 5 goals this season, following adding 6 goals last season as Bristol City held firm above the relegation zone. But even more impressive, Flint captured 15 goals to his name in the 14/15 season which saw City promoted and Champions of League One.
Will Everton snap up their target replacement for Stones? Is this a potential cash influx for Bristol to strengthen for next season and push for top half of the table? The Summer is about to get very interesting for Bristol City fans that's for sure!
