Villa boss talks ahead of Leeds clash
A trip to Elland Road is next up for high-flying Villa, who made it three wins on the spin with a 2-0 victory against Ipswich.
Bruce watched Leeds dismantle Barnsley in the Yorkshire derby on TV before his side played the Tractor Boys.
He was impressed by what he saw and paid particular attention to their attacking threats such as Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski.
“I watched them on the TV today and they're a good side,” Bruce said.
“They've got some good players up the top end of the pitch. We'll have to defend well.
“We're also playing well ourselves, which makes for a cracking game at Elland Road.
“It's live on the tele and will no doubt be in front of a full house.”
November was a fruitful month for Villa and their fine form has lifted them into the play-off spots.
The trip to Elland Road is the first of six fixtures for Bruce’s side in December, and he admits it is a “massive time” for the club.
